Explanation

I used to have a wiki. I'd add things I was working on, my Slashdot journal entries (now enhanced with bloggy goodness), tips and tricks, and so on. Then spammers found it, and vandalized each and every page. It turned out to be pretty difficult to retrieve everything, so I dumped the database and used an awful set of awk, perl and sed scripts to whip that into something resembling their original form.

I may enhance these pages -- make them better, prettier, and so on. A more pressing goal is to make them organized again. And even more important is redirecting people who are coming here for the wiki to the appropriate page. But for now, here are the recovered, bare bones versions.
